In that fateful year, Brazil will come to a crossroads: it will either make some bold choices aiming at long-run prosperity and thus revive non-inflationary growth, or it will go down Argentina's path with its attendant consequences. There will be no middle ground, no more muddling-thr. With the reconfiguration of the international scenario there is no more scope for complacency.
Now, if Dilma is reelected and the Economy continues to struggle, which is not a unlikely combination, she will double the bet and we are doomed for disaster. Let's then pray for Aecio, Marina or Lula to win. It is our only hope now.
